Buying your first home can be insanely stressful. It’s a world of questions you don’t know the answers to. Every step of the way, Kelly was there to provide knowledgeable insight into our concerns; she simplified the process and made it easy for us to understand.

We moved from Vancouver to Chilliwack and didn’t know the area very well. We were looking for someone who would advise us when we looking at different parts of the city. Not only did Kelly have a deep knowledge of Chilliwack, but she also took the time to understand our situation and long-term plans, as a couple hoping to start a family. She went to bat for us, on occasion even advising us against seeing certain properties that we had found online and asked her about because she knew that the neighborhoods were not right for a growing family like ours.

I felt an immediate sense of trust and confidence dealing with Kelly, and always felt that she had our best interests at heart. She went beyond what I’d normally expect from a REALTOR®, handling a difficult seller and a property that needed some significant work. When we all realized that the house would need some repairs, she met with contractors at our request and forwarded estimates from them, conferring with us about the best course of action, all to extremely tight deadlines. She even checked in a few months after the house purchase was complete to check that everything was going well. I have owned multiple properties over the years and worked with some good REALTORS®. We both sold and purchased through Kelly Lerigny and her team. The reason why we chose Sold On Chilliwack, quite frankly, is because we wanted the absolute best and their reputation precedes them. Kelly and her team were gentle and amazingly easy to work with, but also knew when to turn it up and be the tigers that we needed in order to get the job done.

We have just completed the purchase of our new ‘dream home’ after some months of considering various locations and styles, and what we wanted in a newer home.

Kelly’s high level of professionalism and efficiency actually took me by surprise. I could tell that I was in good hands after our first meeting. Kelly and her team were very realistic and upfront with me, never leading me astray or making promises that they wouldn’t be able to keep, but it became clear that they had a good grip on the market and how to go about getting my house sold as quickly as possible. Still, Kelly never put me under pressure to perform or make things happen any quicker than I was able to, working entirely within my budget and time frame. She took my suggestions or objections seriously and only did what I was comfortable with.

The thing that set Kelly aside from many other REALTORS® was the virtual tour that they set up for my house. She coached me in preparing and staging my house for the photo shoot and also for the public viewings. This took months as I had some serious decluttering to do, as well as some repairs that had to happen first. Again, I never felt pressured by them to make it happen any faster. The day they staged my home professionally was a turning point – they came bearing boxes and bins of décor, throws, pillows, curtains, etc., and turned my home into something that was magazine worthy. I would have bought it myself if I wasn’t trying so hard to sell it!

Needless to say, things moved quickly after that. The house sold within 10 days of being listed for the exact price that I was hoping for (and we had priced it with bargaining room in mind). She kept me posted via text and phone calls the entire time and helped me make decisions when I didn’t know how to proceed.
